I Believe I have found a small drop in the (OIL) barrel solution to offset the rising cost of fuel. Approx
three years ago I had open heart surgery (four way bypass) and as soon as I finished rehabilitaion
therapy, I was put on a strict diet. Over the past three years I have dropped sixty lbs and as a result
my grocery intake has been cut in half. Then when my two sons moved out and got married they left
behind many articles of clothing which were about three sizes too small prior to my heart surgery.
Since I am on limited income and I am a cheapscape I have not purchased any new clothing for almost
three years. Now here is the best part, since I have lost sixty lbs my 1993 Buick has increased 3 mpg in
fuel mileage. One final thought, if all these overweight fat asses would park & walk from the furthest point in
the grocery store parking lot instead of the reserved handicapped spots and walk through the aisle to
shop instead of bending the frames on those battery powered grocery carts, maybe just maybe we as a
society would not need to finance the medical bills for those who choose to suck on those coffin nails
chow down on ribs and steaks and cripple and kill fellow motorists because we don't know when to say NO!
